I'm coining a new phrase - derek envy

Defined as the feeling one gets after reading derek martin's blog entries.

Despite negative conotations of the word 'envy', derek envy is actually a good thing. A genuine appreciation of the cool stuff this guy is up to. Yeah, you wish you were doing all the things he was doing yourself, but you almost get as much of a high living vicariously.

Derek is becoming Forest Gump - just a lot brighter - and actually living with purpose as opposed to falling bass ackwards into exciting life experience.

Hats off to Derek.
